Abstract
In an exploration of automated grading, Object Oriented metrics from student code as well as grading data were gathered from a running course in Object Oriented Programming. With this data, the correlation between grade and metrics is tested via linear regression. The changes in data between different assignments, groups and by whom the assignment was graded are also evaluated. Many differences between assignments, groups and graders were confirmed, but grades and metrics ultimately did not appear correlated. More research is recommended to reach a robust conclusion on this topic.
