Abstract

Using the U-Prove system originally conceived by Stefan Brands, one can obtain credentials from a central authority, and partially or completely disclose them to relying parties. The user's privacy is guaranteed as long as he does not show any credential more than once. However, this requirement forces a privacy-conscious user to request and store many copies of essentially the same credentials. We present a modified set of protocols intended to make linking the different times a credential was shown infeasible, while retaining unlinkability between the issuing and showing phases.
