Abstract

This thesis reports on the designing of a MATLAB-model to simulate multi-agent systems. Using simulations would save a lot of time instead of doing calculation of these complex systems. The designed model is suited for multi-agent systems consisting of identical agents. Also different numbers of agents, kinds of network topologies and kinds of disturbances can be simulated. It is even possible to simulate different disturbances on different agents simultaneously. The contribution of our simulation software is mainly the ease of use: since the simulation framework is in place, only the mathematical models of the individual components need to be provided. The simulation provides a plot that can be checked for output agreement and whether the system meets the requirements of the users.
