Abstract

This research integrates a proposed distributed control scheme into a model with two nodes. The control scheme is designed to achieve current sharing and average voltage regulation, which is successfully indicated in simulations. By introducing load modifications and introducing real system parameters, the performance of the proposed controller in terms of current sharing and average voltage regulation is evaluated. Simulations indicate that the proposed controller is robust to the real-life values of elements in the experimental setup and a more general ZIP-load. Experiments indicate that there exists inadequate overlap between the experimental model and the simulations to evaluate the performance of the controller in practice.
