Abstract

In this research, an enantioselective protocol to highly substituted chiral furans has been developed, based on a Cu-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation, a cross metathesis and a ring closing etherification which was performed with total regio- and stereocontrol. Also, the cross-metathesis for this route is studied to improve yields.
