Abstract
In this thesis we investigate gamma-ray bursts, and in particular how high energy cosmic neutrinos can be produced and what the timing is between gamma-rays and these high energy neutrinos. In the first part of this thesis basic concepts and observational constraints of GRBs are discussed. We find that the production of 10 TeV neutrinos is possible and should potentially be detectable at earth using neutrino telescopes like IceCube. We predict no significant The time difference between the detection of 10 GeV neutrinos and the gamma-rays.
