Abstract

This report describes the design procedure of a new dual microphone probe for otoacoustic emission measurements during a ten week internship. With the interdisciplinary project reader as a guideline, the final concept was created and made it to a prototype. Using a dual microphone system the noise floor can be reduced by making use of cross-correlation which is helpful to detect weak signals in noise.
