Abstract
An analogue of Belyi’s theorem in characteristic 2 is concerned with the existence of a tame morphism from any proper smooth curve over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 2 to the projective line. In this thesis, we discuss two proofs of this recent theorem. Following these proofs, we attempt to construct a tame morphism in two examples: the elliptic curve x^3=y^2+y, and Klein's quartic curve x^3y+y^3z+z^3x=0.
