Abstract

The current noise equalization for the pixels in the VeloPix grids has proved to not be based in a realistic assumption. Trims are assumed to follow a linear regression, but lately it has been proven that they actually follow a third degree polynomial. This has arisen questions as to how precise is the equalization process itself. In this research we'll compare the current equalization process with the ideal one to understand how innacurate it's being.
