Abstract
Grand Unified Theories (GUTs) aim to unify the fundamental forces of nature by embedding the Standard Model within a larger symmetry group. Although much of the research on GUTs focuses primarily on theoretical symmetry-breaking patterns, this is not the complete picture. That a symmetry breaking pattern is in principle possible does not mean that it is energetically favorable. In this work, we investigate a scale-invariant SO(10) GUT using a recently proposed numerical method that enables efficient scanning of parameter space for massless models with a single symmetry-breaking step. We implement the procedure introduced by Held et al., validate it by reproducing their key results, and provide high-resolution images and novel diagrams showing parameter space slices that reveal the continuity of allowed symmetry-breaking regions. Our analysis shows that the model can break to the Standard Model gauge group at a scale close to the Standard Model's meta-stability scale, suggesting a natural and highly symmetric extension.
