Abstract
In this thesis the preparation of the SloshSat experiments proposed by the RuG is discussed. Herewith the objective is twofold, consisting of the modification of the existing version of ComFlo, and an outline of the specific conditions under which the flat-spin experiments are to be carried out. The adaptations to ComFlo should make the simulation program more compatible with the actual experimental data, and will enable a validation of solely liquid behaviour by prescribing the exact SloshSat motion in ComFlo simulations. The criteria used for determining the outline of the flat-spin experiment program will be reproducibility and robustness of the manoeuvres, such that a qualitative comparison between experiment and simulation can be made. Also, by pre-computing the ESA-ESTEC and NASA proposed experiments with ComFlo prior to their execution by SloshSat, anomalies in the experiment results can be immediately identified.
