Abstract
The purpose of ttis thesis is to prove the added value of Virtual Environments (yE) to Network Management. On the base of the description and definition of yE, the description of an Network Management system and a list of gudelines, a demonstrator is designed and implemented. Ths prototype system demonstrates the Performance Management of a PABX. With a usability test the added value can be proved.
