Abstract
To improve the results of the IEM Master’s course Mechatronics, a new practical will be introduced, dealing with the subject of robotics. There was no controller available yet for the specific robot the teacher wants to involve. Hence, in this thesis a linear controller is developed from the first principle. The underlying assumption is that a new practical will contribute to improving the course’s exam results, which were very disappointing last year. Therefore, a didactical analysis has been executed to judge the likeliness of this contribution.
