Abstract
Human interactions can be modeled using game theory. In these interactions people make decisions based on the, often monetary, costs and benefits of each decision. Research shows that besides those monetary payoffs, emotions play a large role in the decision-making process. This thesis proposes a model which includes these emotions in the decision-making process of the players in a game. We model the effects of different heights of emotions on the level of cooperation in a population. Furthermore, we model the effects of emotions that fluctuate with the number of positive and negative experiences that a person has. The aim of this research is to contribute to the knowledge of modelling human behavior in groups. Thus, to provide the possibility of predicting the level of cooperation in a group of people with a certain distribution of emotions.
