Abstract
This thesis gives an overview of Tourette Syndrome (TS). Tourette Syndrome is a neurological disorder causing tic behaviours. Much is unknown about Tourette and comorbidities are highly prevalent and strongly impairing. Current therapies rely largely on trial and error and many patients are not receiving optimal treatment. Standard treatments often include medication and might not benefit patients greatly. Personalized therapy and guidance could alleviate the problems resulting from Tourette. Inducing social acceptance and administering proper training should be tried before any invasive therapies are performed.
